I am Yu Yanxin, I was born in 1995 in Chengdu (China). In 2016, I graduated in Interior Design at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts.  Now I live in Italy, where I moved in 2017. Here I'm attending a master degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where I came into contact with the context of contemporary art. The artistic language that I developed deals with the collection of impressions from the surrounding world, which through an interior re-elaboration, are transformed into dreamlike reflections and shapes of reality. In my work there is an important material component, a material that organically shapes and describes things through its properties, building a surreal environment. Using analogue and digital media, I experiment with very heterogeneous interpretative processes, in the constant effort to talk about world through senses perspective.
